Aneel Ranadive currently runs the Ranadive family office with his father, Vivek Ranadive. Aneel grew up in Silicon Valley, received his undergraduate education at Columbia University, then returned to the Bay Area where he gained ten years of experience building and investing in early stage internet and technology companies. Aneel works closely with accelerator program Y Combinator, which has created over $100bn in value with companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Zenefits, and Instacart. Aneel's father Vivek grew up in India and moved to the US for school where he attended MIT and Harvard. After completing his studies, Vivek built enterprise software company Tibco which he grew to over $1bn in revenue and took public. Tibco software powers many Fortune 500 companies and originally "digitized wallstreet." Vivek recently sold Tibco and bought the Sacramento Kings basketball team. He is currently focused on running the team and developing downtown Sacramento.
